Description

A comforting and flavorful Beef Stir Fry with vibrant vegetables, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, etc.)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a little water in a bowl to create a marinade. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Once the beef is cooked, add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For best results, marinate the beef the night before and freeze it for easier slicing.
