- 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, etc.)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and a little water in a bowl to create a marinade. Add the sliced beef and let it marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger; sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once the beef is cooked, add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 3-5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
For best results, marinate the beef the night before and freeze it for easier slicing.
