- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth, then stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
- Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring gently until just incorporated.
- Fold in the mini chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
To ensure perfect banana bread, use ripe bananas with plenty of brown spots and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
