Description

A creamy, layered dessert that combines salty pretzels and sweet blueberries, perfect for spring gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 package (6 oz) blueberry gelatin

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine pretzel sticks, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
  2. In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped topping, then spread it evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
  3. In a saucepan, bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar to a vigorous boil. Stir in the blueberry gelatin until it dissolves completely. Allow the mixture to cool slightly before folding in the blueberries.
  4. Pour the blueberry mixture over the cream cheese layer, ensuring it covers the entire surface. Refrigerate until set, about 3 hours. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

This dessert can be made a day in advance for the best flavor. For variations, try adding fresh pineapple, using different berries, or topping with chocolate drizzle.
