Description

A cozy and creamy Cajun Sausage Pasta that’s perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Parmesan)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned.
  2. Add the diced onion, bell peppers, and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook for another minute.
  4. Add the pasta and enough water or broth to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the pasta is cooked, about 10-12 minutes.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
