Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons chai spice blend
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and chai spice blend.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth it out. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
