A cozy, comforting casserole filled with ground beef, cheddar cheese, and crispy French fries.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups frozen French fries
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion together until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, condensed cheddar cheese soup, and milk. Stir until well mixed.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and layer half of the frozen French fries on the bottom. Pour the beef mixture over the fries, spreading evenly.
- Top with the remaining French fries and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the fries are cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot, and top with optional pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes as desired.
Notes
Customize with different toppings or seasonings for added flavor. Prepare in advance and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking.
