Description

A warm, crispy chicken sandwich layered with creamy Caesar salad and Parmesan cheese on soft bread.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • 3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 soft sandwich rolls or your favorite bread
  • Olive oil, for frying
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
  3. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Toss until everything is well coated.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken breasts into tender strips.
  8. To assemble the sandwiches, lay down a sliced sandwich roll, followed by a generous scoop of the Caesar salad mixture.
  9. Top with the crispy chicken strips and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.
  10. Close the sandwich and serve immediately.

Notes

Consider using ciabatta or focaccia for a heartier sandwich. You can prepare the Caesar salad mixture a day in advance.
