A warm, crispy chicken sandwich layered with creamy Caesar salad and Parmesan cheese on soft bread.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup Caesar dressing
- 3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 soft sandwich rolls or your favorite bread
- Olive oil, for frying
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add enough olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.
- Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side.
- Remove from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Toss until everything is well coated.
- Slice the cooked chicken breasts into tender strips.
- To assemble the sandwiches, lay down a sliced sandwich roll, followed by a generous scoop of the Caesar salad mixture.
- Top with the crispy chicken strips and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Close the sandwich and serve immediately.
Notes
Consider using ciabatta or focaccia for a heartier sandwich. You can prepare the Caesar salad mixture a day in advance.
