Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the lime juice, fresh cilantro, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
  4. Add the chicken broth to the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and mix with the juices.
  7. Serve in burrito bowls, tacos, or warm tortillas.
