A comforting casserole made with creamy pierogies and savory kielbasa, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients

- 3 packages Mrs. T’s cheddar pierogies
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 4 cups chicken broth (3 cups for the casserole, 1 cup for later)
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (1 cup for the casserole, 1 cup for later)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients: Slice the kielbasa and allow the cream cheese to come to room temperature.
- Layer half of the frozen pierogies in the crockpot as the base.
- Add half of the sliced kielbasa over the pierogies.
- Dot the softened cream cheese evenly over the top.
- Pour 3 cups of chicken broth and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Layer the remaining pierogies and kielbasa, finishing with another sprinkle of cheese.
- Cover and set the crockpot to low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
- Once finished, stir everything together and serve hot.
Notes
This casserole can be prepped the night before and refrigerated. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
