Description

Delicious Easter M&M cookies that are soft, chewy, and perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Easter-themed M&Ms
  • Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently.
  6. Fold in the Easter-themed M&Ms (and chocolate chips if using).
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto your prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Make the cookie dough ahead of time and chill it in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
