Description

A comforting grilled cheese sandwich with a crispy garlic bread exterior and gooey cheese filling, perfect for chilly evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread butter-side down in a skillet and sprinkle half of the cheese blend evenly over each slice.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up, to form sandwiches.
  5. Heat a skillet over low heat and cook the sandwiches for 4–5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the pan, slice in half, and serve immediately.

Notes

Make the garlic butter in advance for quick assembly. Experiment with different breads for unique flavors.
