Description

A cozy twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring golden garlic bread and melty cheese, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Optional: parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the softened butter and minced garlic together in a small bowl. Spread this garlic butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place two slices of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  3. Place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread in the skillet.
  4. Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up, and grill until golden brown and cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes or swap vegetables for more flavor. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to two days.
