- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- Optional: parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Mix the softened butter and minced garlic together in a small bowl. Spread this garlic butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place two slices of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Place a slice of cheese on each piece of bread in the skillet.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up, and grill until golden brown and cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and garnish with parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes or swap vegetables for more flavor. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to two days.
