Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup gluten-free oats
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss the sliced apples with lemon juice, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly in a greased baking dish.
  3. Combine gluten-free oats, gluten-free flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and salt in another bowl. Add the cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the apples.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are bubbly.
  6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
