Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine rolled oats, whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix together the unsweetened applesauce, maple syrup (or honey), and chopped apples in a separate bowl.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in raisins or nuts if desired.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
