Description
This comforting lasagna combines the indulgent flavors of a cheeseburger with layers of creamy ricotta, gooey mozzarella, and crispy bacon for a delightful family favorite.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
- Add the ground beef to the same pan and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the minced garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom. Layer with 3 lasagna noodles, followed by ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and crispy bacon. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce and topping with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the lasagna sit for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
