Description

This comforting lasagna combines the indulgent flavors of a cheeseburger with layers of creamy ricotta, gooey mozzarella, and crispy bacon for a delightful family favorite.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.
  3. Add the ground beef to the same pan and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the minced garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce on the bottom. Layer with 3 lasagna noodles, followed by ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and crispy bacon. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce and topping with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let the lasagna sit for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Assemble the lasagna a day in advance and refrigerate. Perfect for potlucks or family gatherings. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
