Ingredients

- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (mixed colors)
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces.
- Chop the cabbage into thin strips and set aside.
- Dice the bell peppers and onion into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add sesame oil and let it heat until shimmering.
- Cook the sliced sausage until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced onions and minced garlic, sauté for 2 minutes.
- Incorporate the cabbage and bell peppers, stir-fry until tender yet crisp.
- Pour in the soy sauce and red pepper flakes, mix thoroughly, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
