- 14 oz firm tofu
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- Mix cornstarch with salt and pepper for the coating in a bowl.
- Toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch mixture until well coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Drizzle vegetable oil over the coated tofu and toss to coat evenly.
- Place the tofu in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in another bowl.
- Toss the crispy tofu in the sauce mixture until well coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
Press the tofu well for maximum crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
