Description

Crispy, golden tofu cubes tossed in a creamy, sweet, and spicy bang bang sauce, perfect for a cozy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Mix cornstarch with salt and pepper for the coating in a bowl.
  3. Toss the tofu cubes in the cornstarch mixture until well coated.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Drizzle vegetable oil over the coated tofu and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Place the tofu in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  7. Mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in another bowl.
  8. Toss the crispy tofu in the sauce mixture until well coated.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Press the tofu well for maximum crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
