Description

Delicious and crispy chicken tenders made easily in the air fryer, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten egg, allowing any excess to drip off.
  4. Coat the chicken strip in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it adheres well.
  5. Place the coated chicken strips in your air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Give the coated tenders a light spray with cooking spray.
  7. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  8. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

You can use chicken thighs for a juicier bite or try fish fillets for a fun twist. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
