Description

A comforting Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Popper Chicken bursting with flavors of creamy cheese and crispy turkey bacon, perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 8 jalapeños, halved and seeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slices of turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stuff each jalapeño half with the creamy cheese mixture.
  4. Place the stuffed jalapeño halves atop each chicken breast.
  5. Wrap each chicken breast with 3 slices of turkey bacon, securing with toothpicks where needed.
  6. Arrange the wrapped chicken in a baking dish and slide it into the oven.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the turkey bacon is golden and crispy.
  8. Remove toothpicks before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven to retain crispiness.
