- Pizza dough
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
- ½ cup BBQ sauce, divided
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
- Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness on a floured surface.
- Transfer the dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet and brush the edges with olive oil.
- Shred or chop the cooked chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and toss in 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce.
- Spread the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Distribute the BBQ chicken pieces and sliced red onions evenly over the cheese.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh cilantro over the hot pizza.
