Description

A deliciously tender pork dish glazed with a sweet and tangy balsamic reduction, perfect for a cozy dinner or festive gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 to 2 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh rosemary or thyme, for garnishing (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, vegetable broth, and minced garlic.
  2. Season the pork: Lightly season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
  3. Place in the crockpot: Transfer the seasoned pork into the crockpot and pour the brown sugar balsamic mixture over the top.
  4. Cook: Set your slow cooker on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred and serve: Once cooked, take the pork out and let it rest before shredding with two forks.
  6. Garnish: Serve warm, garnished with fresh rosemary or thyme.

Notes

Marinate the pork overnight for deeper flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
