Instructions
- Combine buttermilk with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken drumsticks, cover, and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes or overnight.
- Mix flour with paprika, salt, and pepper in another bowl until well combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C) for perfect frying.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting the excess drip off, then dredge it in the flour mixture, coating evenly.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil until golden brown and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil and serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
