- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture onto the batter and swirl gently.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and press them into the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Use a warm, wet knife for slicing.
