Description

A warm and comforting dish featuring roasted Brussels sprouts, crispy turkey bacon, nutty pecans, and sweet cranberries, drizzled with balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • Balsamic glaze (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts.
  3. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  4. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Cook in the oven for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden.
  6. Meanwhile, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  7. Toast the pecans in the same skillet for a few minutes until fragrant.
  8. Add the roasted Brussels sprouts to the skillet with crispy turkey bacon, toasted pecans, and dried cranberries.
  9. Drizzle generously with balsamic glaze before serving.
