Description

A delightful no-fuss apple salad filled with crunchy walnuts, sweet apples, and a creamy dressing, perfect for potlucks or weeknight treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups apples, diced
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt or dressing of choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine the diced apples and walnuts in a large bowl.
  2. Mix the yogurt, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl until creamy.
  3. Pour the dressing over the apple and walnut mixture, tossing gently to coat all ingredients.
  4. Add raisins if using, and mix again for a touch of sweetness.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for a short time before serving to let the flavors meld.

Notes

Make ahead by adding the dressing right before serving to prevent soggy apples. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
