Description

A comforting chicken pasta casserole with creamy sauce and melted cheese, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined. If using, add in the frozen mixed vegetables.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Top with a generous layer of shredded cheese, and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Cool slightly before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Make ahead by assembling a day in advance and storing in the refrigerator. Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting for easier serving.
