Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (any shape you prefer)
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook your pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add halved cherry tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes until they soften and begin to burst.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in heavy cream, stirring to combine into a rich sauce.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat it thoroughly in the luscious sauce.
  7. Remove from heat and mix in fresh basil, allowing the herb’s aroma to infuse the dish.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving warm.

Notes

This pasta can be prepared ahead of time. Reheat gently and add a splash of cream to freshen it up.
