Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of ramen noodles
  • 2 cups of fresh coleslaw mix
  • 1/4 cup of sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup of sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 cup of slivered almonds
  • 1/4 cup of sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup of rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey or sugar
  • Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, green onions, cilantro, sunflower seeds, and slivered almonds.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey (or sugar), and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Add the cooked ramen noodles to the salad mixture, pour the dressing over the top, and toss to combine everything thoroughly.
  5. Serve immediately or let it chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to enhance the flavors.

Notes
