Description

A heartwarming chicken casserole with tender chicken, creamy sauce, and crispy stuffing, perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 box stuffing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter over medium heat in a skillet. Add celery and onion, sautéing until softened and fragrant.
  3. Combine shredded chicken, sautéed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth in a mixing bowl. Mix well until creamy.
  4. Spread half of the stuffing mix in a baking dish to create a base. Pour the chicken mixture over the stuffing, spreading evenly. Top with remaining stuffing mix.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until heated through and the top is golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly before serving and enjoy!
