Description
A delightful and quick side dish of fresh green beans sautéed with garlic and butter, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of pepper
Instructions
- Place the trimmed green beans into a large skillet. Cover them with water, then bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Let them cook for about 5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
- Drain the green beans and set them aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter. Let it melt, swirling it around until it becomes a luscious, golden pool.
- Add the cooked green beans back to the skillet and sauté, stirring frequently for about 3 minutes. Allow the beans to soak up that butter!
- Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant and golden.
- Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, give it one last toss, and voila! You’re done!
