Description

A delightful and quick side dish of fresh green beans sautéed with garlic and butter, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the trimmed green beans into a large skillet. Cover them with water, then bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Let them cook for about 5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
  2. Drain the green beans and set them aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the butter. Let it melt, swirling it around until it becomes a luscious, golden pool.
  4. Add the cooked green beans back to the skillet and sauté, stirring frequently for about 3 minutes. Allow the beans to soak up that butter!
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant and golden.
  6. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper, give it one last toss, and voila! You’re done!

Notes

These green beans can be prepped ahead for easy weeknight dinners.
