Instructions

- Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
- Gradually add the broth while continuously whisking to avoid lumps.
- Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder if using.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5-10 minutes.
