Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup small pasta (like macaroni or ditalini)
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, diced carrots, and diced celery. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the beef broth, water, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil.
