Description

A creamy, no-bake dessert that perfectly balances the flavors of peanut butter and chocolate, reminiscent of childhood memories.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for mousse)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)

Instructions

  1. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl, then press into the bottom of a 9×9 inch dish to form a crust.
  2. Beat together peanut butter, powdered sugar, 1 cup heavy cream, and vanilla extract in another bowl until smooth and fluffy. Spread the peanut butter mousse over the crust.
  3. Heat 1/2 cup heavy cream in a small saucepan until it begins to simmer, then pour it over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for a minute before stirring until smooth.
  4. Pour the ganache over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set. Cut into squares to serve.

Notes

This dessert can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge. It’s perfect for gatherings and can be customized with toppings.
