Instructions
- Combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until well combined.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Prepare your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Churn the ice cream mixture according to your ice cream maker’s instructions (about 20-25 minutes).
- Check for soft serve consistency, and transfer to a container. For firmer ice cream, freeze for an additional 2 hours.
