Description

These decadent Peanut Butter Cup Brownies combine rich chocolate swirls and luscious peanut butter for a cozy dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup peanut butter cups, chopped (or whole if you prefer)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan, or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Mix the creamy peanut butter, cocoa powder, and sugar in a large mixing bowl until well blended.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, beating until smooth.
  4. Incorporate the baking powder and salt, folding gently until just combined.
  5. Blend in the chocolate chips and half of the chopped peanut butter cups.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle remaining peanut butter cups on top, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes, then lift out and slice into squares.

Notes

For a twist, try adding peppermint extract or nuts for extra texture.
