A cozy twist on traditional sushi, this Salmon Sushi Bake combines flavorful seafood with creamy textures for a comforting family meal.
Ingredients

- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 pound salmon, cooked and flaked
- 8 ounces imitation crab, chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup spicy mayo
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- Nori sheets (for serving)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Combine the sushi rice and water in a medium pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 18-20 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Let it cool slightly.
- Mix the cooked salmon, imitation crab, cream cheese, spicy mayo, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a separate bowl until well combined.
- Spread the cooked sushi rice evenly at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer the salmon mixture on top of the rice.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
- Serve warm with nori sheets and enjoy!
Notes
Customize with additional ingredients like bell peppers or sriracha for spice. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
