Description

A delightful no-bake dessert featuring a salty pretzel crust, creamy filling, and luscious strawberry topping, perfect for spring and summer outings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups strawberry pie filling
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
  4. Beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until well mixed.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  6. Pour the strawberry pie filling (and fresh strawberries if using) over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes before serving, allowing the layers to set.

Notes

This dessert can be made a day in advance for better flavor. Keep covered in the refrigerator.
