Ingredients

- Provolone cheese

- Hero/submarine bread
Instructions
- Slice the hero bread lengthwise and hollow out some of the inside to create a pocket for filling.
- Layer the Italian meats evenly on the bottom half of the bread.
- Add slices of provolone cheese on top of the meats.
- Combine chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced red onion, and banana peppers in a large bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar over the salad mixture, then add Italian seasoning.
- Spoon the salad mixture onto the meats and cheese in the sandwich.
- Close the sandwich and press down gently to meld the flavors.
- Slice into portions and serve.
