Description

A comforting breakfast casserole featuring turkey sausage, hash browns, and a creamy custard base. Perfect for gatherings and brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey sausage
  • 1 bag frozen hash browns
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Optional: chopped bell peppers or onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the turkey sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  4. Layer the frozen hash browns in a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread the cooked turkey sausage over the hash browns.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and hash browns.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until the eggs are set and the cheese is golden.
  9. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Prepare ahead of time and refrigerate overnight. It’s great for meal prep and leftovers can be stored for up to five days.
