Description
A creamy and dreamy vanilla cheesecake that melts in your mouth, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, forming a cozy crust for your cheesecake.
- Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in 1 cup sugar and vanilla extract, blending until beautifully combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing just until incorporated for a luscious filling.
- Fold in the sour cream until smooth, adding an extra layer of creaminess.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly—this will ensure it remains soft and creamy!
- Cool on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 240 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld together perfectly.
